Why Electric Bike?

Most people who rule out commuting to work by bike do so because of the mess factor. Arriving at your workplace sweating through your clothes is not a good look for the office. However, the combo of cruising and cycling that e-bikes provide saves you some effort (and sweat), so you can also burn some calories but prevent your ride from becoming a full-blown workout you’re not dressed for.

Like it or not, the e-bike is becoming a big thing. People use e-bikes for transport, they help to carry shopping bags, kids, or just the people uphill, more comfortable and faster.

The first thing you will notice about electric bikes is that they look a lot like standard bikes. A lot of people believe that e-bikes are like scooters, they are just bicycling with the added electric motor.

The benefits:

In most cases, the motivations and experiences of e-bike owners have a perceived impact on personal training behavior. E-bikes help maintain personal mobility and, in most cases, substitute short car journeys and promote health and wellbeing.

Of course, conventional bikes will keep you, fitter? That, of course, depends how much – if at all – you use it. We found that 46% of conventional bikes are used only once or twice a week, with a further 30% being used once a fortnight or even less. E-bike owners reveal that a third ride their bike at least once a day and 81% use the bike at least once a week. The figures confirm our experience that an electric bicycle typically gets used at least twice as often as a conventional machine. For the many other people who currently do not exercise or have never considered bike commuting, there is much to be said for knowing that, if needed, you can get a little help pedaling up that next hill.

The Fun Factor:

There is a lot to talk here. Imagine pedaling up a hill as comfortably as riding down, that’s what the e-bike experience is all about regardless of age or experience, pulling the kid’s trailer with no sweat at all, getting your groceries over that steep hill with a smile on your face.

Environment:

If you want it to, an e-bike can replace a car, which is better for our environment. In fact, 60 percent of people said replacing car trips was the main reason for getting an electric bicycle, according to recent reports. Accessories, such as racks, baskets, fenders, and even cargo e-bikes (for toting groceries or kiddos) are all available to make commuting by bike more comfortable and more comfortable.
